Professor G. Ram Reddy the Vice-Chancellor Of Andhra Pradesh Open University- The First of Its Kind in India. Earlier He Was the Vice-Chancellor of Osmania University From 1977-82. His Publications Include, The Pattern Of Panchayati Raj In India; Panchayati Raj And Rural Development In Andhra Pradesh; Voter And Panchayati Raj; Panchayati Raj In Andhra Pradesh; Secretariat And Heads Of Department: A Study Of Their Relationship; Developing Society And Police; Andhra Pradesh-Government And Politics; And Regionalism M India-A Study Of Telangana. He Has Published Several Articles In National And International Journals And Has Guided A Number Of Research Projects. Prof. Ram Reddy Worked As A Member Of Several State, National And International Committees And Commissions. He Was The Director Of The Indian Council Of Social Science Research, Southern Regional Centre, From 1973-77. Professor G. Haragopal Is A Professor/Senior Fellow at The Centre For Economic And Social Studies, Hyderabad. Earlier He Was a Reader in The Department Of Public Administration At Kakatiya University, Warangal. He Was a Visiting Fellow At The Department Of Political Science, University Of Delhi In 1983, And Has Been On The Visiting Faculty Of The Departments Of Economics And Political Science, University Of Hyderabad From 1980-81 Onwards. His Publications Include: Administrative Leadership And Rural Development In India And A Number Of Articles In National And International Journals. He Has Guided Several Research Scholars For Ph.D. And M. Phil, And Is Associated With The Preparation Of A Number Of Research Reports. Presently He Is The Associate Director Of The Research Project On “Evolution Of Public Policies In Andhra Pradesh For Rural Development-1850-1980 : Implications And Consequences”.
