Penulis: George Egerton

Dukung
Born in central Norway’s Gudbrandsdalen Valley, Knut Hamsun moved at three years old with his family to Hamarøy. Here, his father, Peder Pedersen, began running a farm. In this rural town, close to the Arctic Circle, Hamsun was isolated from other children and began developing his perspective of the world around him. Although he won the Nobel Prize in 1920, he would later be rejected by his countrymen for his support of the Nazi regime.
