Harry Eyres has been a theatre critic, wine writer, poetry editor and for a decade wrote the ‘Slow Lane’ column in the Financial Times. He has contributed to the Today programme on BBC Radio 4 and is the author of Beginner’s Guide to Plato’s The Republic, Wine Dynasties of Europe, The Viking Guide to Cabernet Sauvignon Wines and most recently Horace and Me: Life Lessons from an Ancient Poet. He lives in London.George Myerson has published books on football, ancient and contemporary culture, modern thought, and the philosophy of everyday life. He holds a Ph D in English from Cambridge where he currently teaches.
