James Roberts began writing his novels almost 14 years ago in a small 2 bedroom apartment in Grand Forks North Dakota, at this time he was in and out of the hospital for pain in his back pain and blackouts. He started to feel like he wasn’t worth anything to his family or to himself because, he was unable to care for them. He tried to get workers compensation for years they just kept turning him away, he began to write even more to pass the time he always had the hope that these novels would be his answer for all of his family. He than became a very depressed man the more the pain progressed he did have two back surgeries on two occasions after the second surgery he began to slip further away. But James did continue to stay as strong as he could until he grew more tired but until that last word was on paper he wrote literally until his dying day finally the door was opened for his eternal rest and he left his children the best gift also for the world to see.
