Patricia A. Peterson earned a B.S. degree from BYU and a Masters of Education, Culture and Society, from the University of Utah. She has taught English at Sylvan Learning Center, Salt Lake Community College, and currently teaches at Butler Middle School. Her story, “Stacking Stones, ” was published in the Friend. Patricia was raised in Rifle and Uravan, Colorado, and she is married to Richard G. Cook. They have 7 children and 15 grandchildren.
Janet Peterson received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English from BYU. She has written extensively for Church magazines and co-authored Elect Ladies: Presidents of the Relief Society, Keepers of the Flame: Presidents of the Young Women, and The Children’s Friends: Primary Presidents and Their Lives of Service. She has also published Remedies for the “I Don’t Cook” Syndrome and Family Dinners: Easy Ways to Feed Your Kids and Get Them Talking at the Table. She and her husband, Larry, are the parents of 6 children and 9 grandchildren.
