Dr. Jason C. Hung is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering at the National Taichung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan, ROC. His research interests include multimedia computing and networking, e-learning, web service and anticipatory computing. He received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and Information Engineering from Tamkang University, in 1996, 1998, and 2001, respectively. Dr. Hung has published over 120 papers and book chapters, and has participated in numerous international academic activities, including the organization of many international conferences. He is the founder of International Conference on Frontier Computing. In 2013, he served as Hon Treasurer of IET Taipei LN. In April 2014, he was elected as a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET), and was elected Vice Chair of IET Taipei LN in November of that year. Since June 2015, he has been Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Cognitive Performance Support.
Dr. Neil Y. Yen is an Associate Professor at the University of Aizu, Japan. He received doctorates in Human Sciences (major in Human Informatics) at Waseda University, Japan, and in Engineering (major in Computer Science) at Tamkang University, Taiwan in March and June 2012 respectively. His doctor degree at Waseda University was funded by the JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) under the RONPAKU program. Dr. Yen has been involved in various international activities, including editorial work in journals and books and society services in academic conferences sponsored by IEEE/ACM, etc. He has been engaged in interdisciplinary realms of research, and his current interests are primarily in the field of human-centered computing and big data.
Dr. Lin Hui is an Associate Professor at the Department of Innovation Information and Technology at Tamkang Universit, Taiwan, ROC. Lin Hui received her B.S. degree in Mathematics from Tunghai University and her M.S. degree in Mathematics from Fu Jen Catholic University, Taiwan. In 1993, with support from the Chungshan Institute of Science, was a special student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA. She received her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from Tamkang University, Taiwan, in 2006. She is one of Editorial Board Members for the International Journal of Cognitive Performance Support. Dr. Hui has participated in numerous international academic activities, including as a member of the program committee of several international conferences, PAKDD/Big PMA, Umedia, and Frontier Computing.
