Karen is interested in, has published in and teaches in, the areas of: victimology and visual victimology; critical criminology and zemiology; crimes and harms of the powerful and resistance to it; sports criminology, and the occupational-related harms of the ‘sports entertainment’ industry. She also publishes in the area of hate crime including female sex worker hate crime.
