Her story aired on The 700 Club, Focus on the Family, and Life Today. She coauthored Surviving the Storms of Life (2008) and is the producer of In The Wildflowers and Into My Arms counselling DVDs. She was inducted into the Suffolk County (NY) Women’s Hall of Fame (2009). Julie has four children and three grandchildren.
