Isabelle Constant teaches French, Caribbean and African literatures at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, Barbados. She is the author of a book on Christiane Rochefort”s utopian language and of a book on dreams in African and Caribbean literatures. She is currently working on Le Clézio.Kahiudi C. Mabana teaches Francophone literatures and cultures at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, Barbados. His books are on the mythical universe of Tchicaya U Tam”si and on the francophone versions of Shaka Zulu. His current areas of interest include orature, francophonie, and the interface between Africa and the Diaspora.Philip Nanton teaches Cultural Studies part-time at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, Barbados. His recent publications include contributions to Caribbean Dispatches: Beyond the Tourist Dream (2006) and a spoken word CD, Island Voices from St. Christopher and the Barracudas (2008).
