Mark Davis served thirty-two dedicated years of service with the Chicago Police Department, rising through the ranks from patrol officer to commander of the Gresham (006th) district. Before retiring from the CPD on 1 August 2002, he was the commander of Police Dispatch of the Office of Emergency Management and Communications.
