Martin Riegl received his PhD from the Institute of Political Studies of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University, where he now holds the position of Assistant Professor. His research interests include the political geography of the sovereign state and quasi-states, the geopolitics of failed states, the geopolitics of unrecognized states, and the geopolitics of sub-Saharan Africa.Jakub Landovský, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University and an international lawyer. His research interests include the geopolitics of freshwater, international relations and complexity theory.Irina Valko is a full-time PhD Student and Lecturer at the Institute of Political Studies of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University. Her research interests include the political geography of the Polar regions, methods of geopolitical analysis, Russian foreign policy, conflict resolution, and new regionalism.
