If you ever had the right opportunity in life to feel alive in love as you always dreamed, would you take it? These series of poems depict such a journey for me with a younger woman making me feel younger again with every hope and aspiration Id imagine now for then. During the same time there was its harsh reality with all its problems you might dare face, wanting to overcome more than any time in your life. It was joyous, ecstatic, inspiring, yet frustrating, depressing, and even a sense of utter hopelessness. Throughout Id cling to the faith that I wanted to be so integral to the whole dynamic; speaking often of its importance. Neither of us, no matter where we really were in all this, can remain unaffected.

My life has been a series of what many would see as incredible hope given to me by my faith, yet in ignorance of its very critical dynamic in the personal meaning of being in Christ. This wasn’t discovered until my life was already disabled in so many ways; involving one wrong choice, which eventually crippled me physically. Strangely, life has a way of stepping on us when were down that only the wonder of a love felt in our hearts from another, who becomes more precious to us than we could first imagine in beginning to give life’s rose its fragrance again. God does this for us in Christ and He means to bless our lives with such a marriage worth every thorn in life’s stem.
