Gerald A. Klingbeil, Ph.D., editor asociado de las revistas Adventist Review y Adventist World. Es profesor investigador de Estudios del Antiguo Testamento y del Cercano Oriente Antiguo en el Seminario Teológico Adventista del Séptimo Día. Nacido en Berlín, Alemania, Klingbeil completó una licenciatura en Teología en un campus afiliado de la Universidad Andrews, Helderberg College, Sudáfrica, en 1990. Al año siguiente, asistió a la Universidad de Stellenbosch, donde recibió su licenciatura con honores en Lenguas y Culturas Semíticas. y un MA y DLitt en Estudios del Antiguo Cercano Oriente.
