Dr. Shakti Kanta Rath is presently working as lecturer in Department of Biotechnology, School of Life sciences, Ravenshaw University, India. He has completed his M.Sc. (Biotechnology) from Utkal University, Odisha, India in 2004 and Ph D. (Life Sciences) in 2014 from North Orissa University, Baripada, Odisha, India. He qualified CSIR-UGC NET in LIFE SCIENCES under the LECTURESHIP-CATEGORY held in December-2005. He was also awarded DBT (Dept. of Biotechnology) JRF eligibility certificate by selection committee for DBT-JRF for Ph D in July 2004. He has around ten years of teaching and research experience and has about twenty publications in international and national reputed journals and one book chapter. He has also presented many research papers in various international and national conferences and has also worked as member of organizing committee for various national and international conferences.
