Thanks to the professional support of Andrés Castillo and Anita Portilla, since 2001 the group has maintained a close relationship with the Institute for Blind and Deaf Children of the Valle del Cauca with which multiple therapy applications for the oral development of children with hearing diversity have been developed. The processes with the institute have been about interdisciplinary construction of knowledge and have produced results with a significant impact.
Through the Network of Informatics Engineering and Related Careers (REDIS), Destino maintain a close relationship with other universities in the country. This is how professors Claudia Zuñiga from the Universidad Santiago de Cali and Fabián Castillo from the Universidad Libre supported the construction of this volume.
Finally, the Destino research group has an extensive international network that includes countries from all over the world. This volume is the resulting collaboration with the Chinese commission represented by Professors Zhigeng Pan from Hangzhou Normal University and Xun Luo from Tianjin University of Technology.”
