Until the following week. As Koenig is hosting a party to celebrate success, the mood is broken when he receives a call informing him that a body has been discovered in his lab. Things begin to unravel; they realize an unexpected anomaly is causing the portal to expand uncontrollably. Drastic measures are required to save the world. Due to an equipment malfunction, this effort nearly fails, but for a heroic Sergeant who sacrifices himself to fix the equipment in time.

But the story is not over. Because when the dimensional portal was opened, it admitted Callum, an entity of pure elemental consciousness. And Callum, along with Koenig’s eccentric genius son, Christopher, will ultimately lead humanity… where?
