David Ryan is the author of the story collection Animals in Motion (Roundabout Press). A recipient of the Elizabeth Yates Mc Greal Writer in Residence, a Connecticut state arts grant and a Macdowell fellowship, he currently teaches in the writing program at Sarah Lawrence College and in the low residency program at New England College.
