The book engages with the law and criminal justice system, health services, specialised services for victim-survivors, educational and cultural interventions, as well as how they can best be coordinated. Suzanne Franzway is Emeritus Professor of Sociology and Gender Studies at the University of South Australia. Her research focusses on sexual politics, greedy institutions, gendered violence and citizenship, and epistemologies of ignorance. She is a scholar activist in the area of women and work, serving on NGOs and is founding member of the UNESCO Women’s Studies and Gender Studies Research Network.
