My name is Derek Lawson; I have grown up in the wide open spaces of West Auckland.
I have shown an interest in writing poetry, since my late teens. It has proven to be a great way to express my feelings, experiences, in a creative way.
Like sailing a yacht, it’s the adventure of catching the wind, to take one to a destination in the distance, using the Technique of “Tacking and Jibing”
Apply the same principal to writing an interesting poem, using words to put one, on an adventurous journey into the distance!
