Fabio Fossa is a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy. His main research areas include applied ethics, philosophy of technology, robot and AI ethics, and the philosophy of Hans Jonas. His current research deals with the philosophy of artificial agency and the ethics of driving automation. He is a member of the research group META – Social Sciences and Humanities for Science and Technologies and Editor-in-Chief of the Italian journal  In Circolo – Rivista di filosofia e culture.
