Fernanda Emediato is a talented and dedicated writer, editor, producer, and businesswoman from São Paulo, Brazil. Her passion for writing started when she was only 9 years old when she wrote ‘A menina perdida, ‘ her first book, in a children’s diary. The story, which addresses the importance of not judging people without knowing them, was published by Geração Editorial in 2013.

In 2020, with the support of a culture sponsoring program (Proac) of São Paulo state, Fernanda launched her second book, ‘A menina sem cor’ by Troinha publishers. In that sensitive and caring work, she addresses important topics such as racism and self-acceptance. In 2022, Fernanda published ‘O morcego sem asas, ‘ also through Proac. The story tells us about persistence and empathy, allowing kids to discover the importance of having dreams and not giving them up.

In addition to her career as a writer, Fernanda has been an activist for children’s rights since 2013. She participates in groups that visit schools in São Paulo and other cities, emphasizing the importance reading has in building children’s personality.

Fernanda Emediato’s dedication and commitment have been finding admirers and recognition in the Brazilian literary and social scenario. Her books contribute significantly to the development of culture and art in her country, and her work as an activist for children’s rights inspires many.

ALAN MAIA is a renowned designer from Bahia, Brazil. He graduated in advertising from FIAM-FAAM University. He began to focus on the editorial field in 1992. Since then, he has created over 500 covers and graphic projects published by major publishing houses. For each book, he creatively designs unique graphic projects, balancing the visual aspect of the book – layout, colors, typography, design, etc. – with its editorial content – text and language.

Fernanda Emediato é empresária, escritora, editora, produtora cultural, produtora editorial, consultora, atriz e professora. Com mais de 27 anos de experiência profissional, ela se destacou em diversas áreas editoriais e culturais. Aos 9 anos de idade, escreveu seu primeiro livro, ‘A Menina Perdida’, e desde então já publicou mais de 20 obras literárias em língua portuguesa e outros idiomas. Ao longo de sua trajetória, Fernanda Emediato teve suas obras contempladas em programas importantes, como o Pro AC e o PNLD. Além disso, ela sempre priorizou a defesa dos direitos das crianças. Desde 2013, visita escolas dentro e fora de São Paulo, levando sua paixão pela literatura e promovendo o acesso à leitura. Fernanda Emediato é uma figura inspiradora, dedicada não apenas à sua carreira como escritora e editora, mas também ao impacto social positivo por meio de suas atividades culturais e ações em prol das crianças.
