Dr Iulia-Sabina Joja studied political science and international relations in Berlin, Bucharest, and London. She works as a consultant for Euro-Atlantic security and is currently a Hanns Seidel Foundation post-doctoral fellow at the Center for Military History and Social Sciences of the Bundeswehr in Potsdam. Joja also teaches European studies and governance at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. She previously worked as an advisor for NATO and the Romanian presidential administration.  The author of the foreword: Dr Heiko Biehl heads the Department of Military Sociology at the Center for Military History and Social Sciences of the Bundeswehr in Potsdam.
