Marco Abel (Dr. phil.), geb. 1969, ist Professor für Anglistik und Filmwissenschaft an der University of Nebraska, USA. Seine Monographie The Counter-Cinema of the Berlin School (Camden House, 2013) wurde von der German Studies Association mit dem DAAD Preis für das beste Buch ausgezeichnet (2014). Im Herbst 2019 war er Dirk Ippen Fellow an der American Academy in Berlin. Jaimey Fisher (Dr. phil.), geb. 1970, ist Professor für Germanistik und Filmwissenschaft an der University of California, Davis, USA, wo er auch das UC Davis Humanities Institute leitet. Er studierte an der Stanford University, promovierte an der Cornell University und war Juniorprofessor an der Tulane University in New Orleans. Neben mehreren Stipendien des DAAD bezog er das Bundeskanzler-Stipendium der Alexander-von-Humboldt Stiftung.
