It’s been eight years since Jan Gallagher traded the excitement of San Diego for the charm of Woodland, California. The gracious Victorian architecture, tree shaded streets, Carnegie library, antique rose gardens and friendly people make living in Woodland seem like stepping back in time. “The quiet suits me. I find it conducive to creativity, ” says Gallagher. She enjoys a balance of time with family and friends and time alone. Her true love is poetry, which she calls “drawing pictures and ideas with words.”
