K. Tayung, is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Botany, North Orissa University, India. He obtained his Ph.D from University of Gauhati, Assam. He was awarded with CSIR project fellowship and DRDO research fellowship. He has 10 years of teaching and research experience. His research interest is microbial diversity with special inclination to endophytic fungi and their bioactive metabolites. He has published more than 25 papers in national and international reputed journals. Currently he is working as Co-PI in DST project on “Microbial diversity of Similipal Biosphere Reserve with reference to their bioactive metabolites”. He is also acting as reviewers in several national and international journals. B.P. Barik, is working as Assistant Professor and Head, P.G. Department of Bioinformatics, North Orissa University, India. He has 10 years of teaching and research experience. He has served as faculty member in Bioinfor-matics in different institutions. He has published many bioinformatics related research papers in national and international journals. His research interests are fungal genomics and computational biology. He has delivered many invited talks in universities, research organizations and colleges. Currently he is Co-coordinator, Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility, North Orissa University.
