Krystyna Mazur received her MA from the English Department of the University of Warsaw and her Ph D from Cornell University. Her first book,  Poetry and Repetition: Walt Whitman, Wallace Stevens, John Ashbery,  was published by Routledge in 2005 as part of the series Literary Criticism and Cultural Theory. Her major research interests include U.S. literature, American studies, queer studies, and film studies.  .
