isa Shanahan has a B.A. in English from Vanderbilt University and worked in book publishing in Boston for many years. Her essays on art, travel, health, family, and her Tennessee childhood have been published on Medium and on The Huffington Post, where she is a featured blogger. Recently of Cambridge, Massachusetts, she now lives in Bloomington, Indiana, with her husband, the Dean of the Media School at Indiana University. Her daughter works in the film industry in Los Angeles. Lisa is also the author of Murder by the Book, the first volume in her Boston Publishing House Mystery series.
