Madelena Gonzalez is Professor of English Literature at the University of Avignon. Her latest publications include: Fiction after the Fatwa: Salman Rushdie and the Charm of Catastrophe (2005), Translating Identity and the Identity of Translation (2006) and Théâtre des minorités: Mises en scène de la marge à l”époque contemporaine (2008). She has published widely on contemporary literature and culture and is currently editing a second volume on Minority Theatre, this one in English.Marie Odile Pittin-Hédon is a lecturer in contemporary British literature at Avignon University, France, and specializes in Scottish literature. She has published a monograph, Alasdair Gray: Marges et Effets de Miroirs, in 2004, and chapters on contemporary fiction in The Edinburgh History of Scottish Literature (2007) and The Edinburgh Companion to Twentieth-Century Scottish Literature (2009). She is currently working on a book on twenty-first-century Scottish writing.
