Your author is an individual who hopes to tell her story and provide verification that a life of pain, drugs and alcohol can become a life motivated to deal with pain without the use of drugs and alcohol. Your author has dealt with tragedies of death, abandonment, abuse and neglect, yet is willing to share her desire to live a positive life with others. Because of her use of drugs and alcohol, she has accepted that some challenges of life were her own doing and with acceptance has come to believe that she is not all bad just made bad choices. However, someone once told her ‘The Power to Change is Making a Decision and Sticking to It’.
