This book is the story of two people who shared a beautiful love for twenty-eight magical years, until an unwelcomed stranger entered their lives and slowly destroyed everything. It was cunning and sinister and hid itself in a deceptive haze, keeping them slightly off balance.
They ignored it, they denied it, they fought it. But it was relentless in its pursuit, and finally they succumbed to it. It was then it revealed itself. The predator was the unconquerable Alzheimers Disease.
The author has written this story as a tribute to the love of her life; it is the authors hope that this short but meaningful story will give some comfort, support, and insight to those who find themselves in the same situation.
