Paul Hosch lived on the Jersey Shore years before it became infamous on MTV. In 1969, he headed to San Francisco and caught the last dregs of the hippie drug era. After abandoning that scene for yoga, a famous Indian monk took him on tour as his assistant. At the age of twenty-two, Mr. Hosch lived in India for a year, studying with his own guru. Eventually, he moved to Hawaii where he spent the next thirty-three years working as an artist. He has been practicing meditation and yoga for fifty-two years.
