Paul Robert Magocsi è professore di storia e scienze politiche all’Università di Toronto, dove ricopre la cattedra di studi ucraini intitolata a John Yaremko. È autore di oltre 40 libri, tra cui Historical Atlas of Central Europe (2018), The Roots of Ukrainian Nationalism (2002), A History of Ukaine: The Land and Its Peoples (2017), This Blessed Land: Crimea and the Crimean Tatars (2022), e Jews and Ukrainians (2018).
