Aided by his strange ability to breathe under water, he finds the unconscious Maria and rescues her. Ryan has scruples to return home with Maria alone, but she persuades him by declaring that she is pregnant – with his child. They encounter their teammate Ai and a strange girl who looks like a younger image of herself. Little Ai offers to show them the way to the place where their ship is waiting. The way leads through a tunnel filled with water – and with living dead.
