Robert Evans is an Army veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific. He was born into an Army family and earned a Bachelor of Arts in history and a certificate in Pacific studies. He spent forty years in the construction field and is also the author of Truk Lagoon: A Cultural Geography. He lives in Hawaii.
