Dr Martin Brueckner is co-director of the Centre for Responsible Citizenship and Sustainability and senior lecturer in sustainability at Murdoch University, Australia. He is a social ecologist with a background in management, economics and environmental policy. His research is focused on industry-community relations, sustainable communities and regional sustainability with a social justice emphasis. Dr. Rochelle Spencer is co-director of the Centre for Responsible Citizenship and Sustainability and is a senior lecturer in Development Studies at Murdoch University. As an anthropologist of development, Rochelle’s work focuses on Africa, Cuba and north east Arnhem Land with development NGOs focusing on issues pertaining to capacity building, indigenous social enterprise, experiential learning, smallholder farmers and sustainable tourism using participatory processes. Dr. Megan Paull is co-director of the Centre for Responsible Citizenship and Sustainability and senior lecturer in management at Murdoch University in Western Australia. Her research interests include governance, nonprofit organisations, volunteers and volunteer management, and all aspects of organisational behaviour including when behaviour is not so “good”.
