Roger Peter Frey wurde in der Schweiz geboren. Er machte sein Hobby vor einigen Jahren zum Beruf und wurde Gleitschirmfluglehrer SHV, DHV und ÖAe C.
Auf der Kanareninsel La Palma entwickelte er zusammen mit dem spanischen Fluglehrer Javier López Redondo in der Flugschule Palmaclub einen Guide Service für Gleitschirmpiloten und spezialisierte sich auf deren Weiterbildung. Roger lebt und arbeitet auf La Palma und in der Schweiz.
