Dr. S. Smys received his M.E. and Ph.D. degrees all in Wireless Communication and Networking from Anna University and Karunya University, India. His main area of research activity is localization and routing architecture in wireless networks. He serves as an Associate Editor of Computers and Electrical Engineering (C&EE) Journal, Elsevier, and Guest Editor of MONET Journal, Springer. He is served as a reviewer for IET, Springer, Inderscience, and Elsevier journals. He has published many research articles in refereed journals and IEEE conferences. He has been the General chair, Session Chair, TPC Chair, and Panelist in several conferences. He is member of IEEE and senior member of IACSIT wireless research group. He has been serving as Organizing Chair and Program Chair of several international conferences, and in the Program Committees of several international conferences. Currently, he is working as a Professor in the Department of Information Technology at RVS Technical Campus, Coimbatore, India.
Dr. Ram Palanisamy completed his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Madras, India, and proceeded his Master of Science in Operations Research from the University of Madras, India. In May 1985, he completed his Master of Business Administration in Information Systems from Bharathidasan University, India. Later on August 1998, he received his Doctor of Philosophy in Management Information Systems (MIS) Planning from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), New Delhi, India. From January 1986–June 1988, he worked as Research Associate, Department of Computer Applications, National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli (NITT), Deemed University, India., (Term Position). In October 1999–August 2004, he worked as an Assistant Professor, Department of Information Systems, St. Francis Xavier University. At present, he is working as a Full Professor, Department of Information Systems, Gerald Schwartz School of Business, St. Francis Xavier University, Canada.
Dr. Álvaro Rocha holds a Habilitation in Information Science, Ph.D. in Information Systems and Technologies, M.Sc. in Information Management, and BCS in Computer Science. He is Professor of Information Systems at the University of Lisbon, researcher at the CSG – Research in Social Sciences and Management (ISEG), and a collaborator researcher at the LIACC (Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science) and at the CINTESIS (Center for Research in Health Technologies and Information Systems). His main research interests are information systems maturity models, information systems quality, online service quality, requirements engineering, intelligent information systems, e-Government, e-Health, and information technology in education. He is also President of AISTI (Iberian Association for Information Systems and Technologies), Chair of IEEE Portugal Section Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society Chapter, Editor-in-Chief of JISEM (Journal of Information Systems Engineering & Management), and Editor-in-Chief of RISTI (Iberian Journal of Information Systems and Technologies).
Dr. Grigorios N. Beligiannis is currently working as a Professor at the University of Patras Greece. He obtained his Ph.D. in Evolutionary Systems for Digital Signal Processing of Stochastic Signals, Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics, University of Patras, in 2002. His research interests focuse on several issues, such as Artificial Intelligence, Computational Intelligence, Machine Learning, Artificial Neural Networks, Genetic/Evolutionary Algorithms, Applications of Hybrid Intelligent Information Systems for Modeling Real-World Problems, Design and Development of Hybrid Intelligent Algorithms for Solving Timetabling and Scheduling Problems. He has published 39 articles in international scientific journals and 44 articles in proceedings of international conferences. He is member of editorial board in number of scientific journals. He is an active referee in 15 international scientific journals and has completed over 150 reviews. He has been member of the Program Committee in more than 80 international scientific conferences.
