Her fields of interests are media in everyday life, virtual cultures, morality and ethics, and media phenomenology. She has led several research projects on media use in different cultural contexts online as well as offline, and has published several books and articles in journals such as Media, Culture and Society, Space and Culture, Games and Culture, International Journal of Cultural Studies, etc.
