He is a corporate director, consultant, and a researcher, writer, and speaker on the complexity and decision-making. As the former Executive Vice President of Retail Distribution at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, he led 18, 000 employees in banking and wealth management services. Prior to that role, he was president and CEO of CIBC Securities Inc., Chairman of CIBC Trust Corp., and Chairman of CIBC Private Investment Counsel Inc., overseeing Canadian and international offices. In his capacity as a director on both for-profit a not-for-profit boards, he has chaired a variety of board committees.
