Tim Leiwig enjoyed a successful career in the public sector, specifically in the Parks & Recreation profession. However, his longtime passion for wine; particularly wine & food pairings, has led him to writing this book. He has been a member of the American Wine Society for many years and a past Chapter President. He was asked to assist in writing a couple of wine courses for the American Wine Society.
Tim has attended many food and wine courses in a quest to learn and refine his palate. He has visited numerous wineries, attended many seminars and met with local restaurant owners, and their chefs, to discuss and recommend wines to pair with their food offerings.
Mostly he enjoys experimenting with flavors and searching for the best pairings possible. Tim hopes that you enjoy reading what he’s been able to learn about over the years.
