He created the concept of managing from a higher level and the Protect-Biz risk management planning process. Over a forty-year career as a systems and management consultant and as a project manager, O’Connor devised and implemented business process improvement solutions for Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and international clients. He has served a variety of industries, including health care, education, manufacturing, public utilities, logistics, pharmaceuticals, transportation, and financial services.
O’Connor has represented leading companies, including Electronic Data Systems, Coopers & Lybrand Consulting, Perot Systems Corporation, KPMG Ex IS, Computer Sciences Corporation, and Data Dimensions Inc.
O’Connor served as an officer in the US Navy in the Pacific Fleet after graduating from Auburn University with a degree in industrial engineering.
He resides in Georgia’s Golden Isles with his wife of forty years.
