DAN GOODLEY is Professor of Psychology and Disability at the Department of Psychology and Social Change, Manchester Metropolitan University, UK.

EMMA CLAVERING was one of the research associates involved in this study, she continues to work with Janice Mc Laughlin in PEALS in associated research projects.
