The author’s love for the Psalms began while he was living in New York City (Harlem & Brooklyn). The idea of compiling verses was conceived while he was living in Omaha, Nebraska.

Ray Reid composed music to accompany the author’s recitation of verses, and the work was recorded on tape (circa 1993). The author has grown to understand that giving thanks and praising God is a ‘Prelude to Worship’ (Pastor Robert Young).

Author James Allen has assembled this work many years ago and is excited to release it to the public.
