About the author

James De Monaco, a lifelong New Yorker, is the award-winning screenwriter, director, and producer of the Purge series. De Monaco also wrote The Negotiator, starring Samuel L. Jackson and Kevin Spacey. He co-authored Feral, a dystopian thriller novel, with Brian Evenson. The Curious Chronicles of Jack Bokimble and His Peculiar Penumbra is his first children’s book.
