Laura Schmitt graduated from Appalachian State University with a bachelor”s degree in special education in 2001. In 2005, she completed her master”s degree in curriculum and supervision from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. After working as a teacher, then as a curriculum coordinator, and finally as a program specialist, she decided to stay home with her family full time. Laura resides in Monroe, North Carolina, with her husband and four children. You”re likely to find her there sneaking in a nap or dancing in her kitchen!
