Jeremy Banas is a freelance beer writer based in San Antonio, Texas. His writing appears in San Antonio Craft Beer Examiner for Examiner.com, San Antonio Magazine, the Brewers Association”s CraftBeer.com and his own website RuinationPress.com. He is a founding member of San Antonio Beer Week and is San Antonio City Chair for Texas craft beer advocacy group, Open the Taps. Jeremy is a Certified Beer Server in the Cicerone Certification Program and is working toward his Cicerone certification.Travis E. Poling is a journalist and beer writer. His writing has appeared in the San Antonio Express-News, San Antonio Business Journal, San Antonio Magazine, Texas Hill Country Magazine, Midstream Business, Hillviews and Local Community News, where he was founding editor. Poling is co-author of the 2009 “Beer Across Texas: A Guide to the Brewmasters of the Lone Star State” and a co-founder of San Antonio Beer Week. He lives in New Braunfels, Texas, with his wife Margaret.
