Mary Lou Missall and her husband John are historians and authors whose primary work focuses on the Seminole Indian Wars. Mary Lou is the chief researcher of their two Seminole War histories and the biographies of Col. William S. Foster and Maj. John R. Vinton. She has a B.A. from Indiana University and an M.A. from California State University. The couple are long-time residents of Fort Myers, Florida.
