Harvey, a rich young man, follows his mother on a luxury cruise ship. While crossing the North Atlantic, he accidentally falls from the deck into the sea and is fortunately rescued by a fishing boat named "The Sea." After waking up, Harvey does not thank the rescuers but instead suspects the crew of stealing his money and rudely demands that the fishing boat take him home immediately. The captain refuses Harvey’s request and asks him to do chores on the boat until the fishing boat completes its fishing mission for the season and returns. The vast ocean and the hard life of fishing gradually wear away Harvey’s flamboyant habits. Through continuous learning and adventure, Harvey grows into a real fisherman. In the end, the fishing boat returns full of fish, Harvey reunites with his family, and realizes the path he should take in the future. He will explore a new sailing journey with the partners of "The Sea." "The Brave Captain" has a delicate and vivid writing style, with ups and downs in the plot and vivid and natural character images, showing the charm of literary art, and is a rare good work.
