Julia (Romani) Maliszewski was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. She attended UW Stout, has a BA in psychology, and has a passion for art. She is a wife and a mother of two (Katelyn, fourteen, and Emily, ten) and works as a county caseworker in the small rural town of Osage, Iowa. This is her first book published.
