It’s 10:30pm on Sept. 19th, 1961, just outside of Lancaster, New Hampshire. Betty and Barney Hill are driving back from their honeymoon in Niagara Falls when Betty notices a falling star streaking across the sky. But there’s something strange about this falling star. It is ‘falling’ upward …
So began the ‘Hill Abduction’, otherwise known as the ‘Zeta Reticuli Incident’. The event, which lasted into the morning, found the coupled pursued by mysterious lights in the sky along a remote highway, only to wake up hours later and more than 30 miles away from the initial encounter. Was their pursuit a dream, a hallucination, or something more sinister?
Inspired by the Betty and Barney Hill abduction, the first widely publicized alien abduction in the United States, Recall is a graphic novel about race, romance, and fear.
This is the debut project from author Kevin Miller, a writer/producer from Discovery, The History Channel, and Comedy Central. To bring this project to life, Miller collaborated with Croatian artist Danijel Zezelj, who has previously worked with DC Comics/Vertigo and Marvel Comics on properties like ‘Sandman’, ‘Captain America’, and ‘Superman’.
